Docs-only fix for issue #26: removes the remaining self-hosting claims the earlier marketing/docs pass (2f81c67, 3b0f103) left behind. No replacement is invented; the compose recipe gets the same "Not yet supported" banner already shipped on docs-site and deploy docs.

Changes (3 files, +8/-5, rebased on develop @ bc511ff):

  • README.md — H1 "self-hosted auto-remediation" -> "auto-remediation loop"; "Production install" -> "Deployment reference"; added the shipped "Not yet supported" notice above the compose recipe.
  • AGENTS.md — "a self-hosted auto-remediation system" -> "an auto-remediation system".
  • docs/adr/003 — Context sentence drops "self-hosted"; header Last bumped.

Gates (orchestrator-verified, independent of the implementer):

  • python3 scripts/check-ai-headers.py -> 0 (566 ok)
  • python3 docs/use-cases/_check.py -> 0 (350 UC files conform)
  • cd docs-site && bun run build -> 0 (20/20 static pages)
  • grep for self-host language across marketing/src, docs-site/content, docs/, README, AGENTS.md -> only "not yet supported" banners and true deployment-option mentions remain

NEEDS-DECISION for the operator:

  • PRODUCT.md:17 still asserts "self-hosted" (operator's truth file, left untouched) — now contradicts README/AGENTS.md; decide (a) category claim, keep, or (b) claim, remove.
  • .agents/* briefs and two present-tense claims in docs/strategy/2026-09-30-positioning/ still carry the wording (flagged, not edited).
